Miller starts ultramarathon

U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Brandon Miller, of the 177th Intelligence Squadron, begins his 107.3-mile version of the Maah Daah Hey Trail ultramarathon run at 6 a.m. on the rugged dirt path of the trail in the beautiful badlands of North Dakota July 31, 2021. Miller completed the ultramarathon winding up and down hills and valleys in 30 hours, 17 minutes. The Maah Daah Hey Trail course has 11,905 feet of cumulative elevation gain and continues through day and night. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by David H. Lipp)
