119 Wing COVID-19 workers
Maj. Chad Brooks, left, and Senior Airman Kayla Dalquist, both of the 119th Medical Group, gather a swab sample from a voluntary COVID-19 testing participant from the community in the parking lot of the FargoDome, Fargo, N.D., April 25, 2020, as Master Sgt. Mike Knodle, of the 119th Wing public affairs office, records their activities. The voluntary community testing participants are driving through the parking lot during the process as they get tested. The Air National Guard members are wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to stay safe while they work and help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus while testing people as they drive through the process in their vehicles. They are just a few of the N.D. National Guard members who are partnering with the N.D. Department of Health and other civilian agencies in support of the whole community response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are working to help their neighbors in the communities where they also live and work. Approximately 1000 people were tested in the seven-hour testing event April 25.
