2018 JEAC Service Project Painting
From left to right Senior Airman Joel ‘Braxton’ Aldridge, Airman 1st Class Abby Swanson and Senior Airman Nathan Reitan, all members of the North Dakota Air National Guard junior enlisted advisory council (JEAC), paint flower pots as part of a service project during a leadership retreat at Fort Ransom State Park, near Fort Ransom, N.D., June 4, 2018. Plants were later placed into the pottery in preparation for presenting them to residents of the Lisbon Veteran’s Home, Lisbon, N.D. later that day. The Airmen participated in various activities designed to enhance their professionalism, team building, career development, community service and networking. They practiced different styles of communication and conflict resolution through role playing, and gained insight into career progression and advancement through personal interaction.
