119 Wing EOD technician runs 5K in protective suit
Tech. Sgt. Jason Lange, a 119th Wing Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, runs the 5K Hero Run event of the Fargo Marathon, Fargo, North Dakota, May 20, 2016. Lange is donning the 88 pound bomb protection suit and running with Senior Master Sgt. Bill Kennedy, also in the 119th Wing EOD, in green shirt, along with friends, to raise awareness for wounded EOD technicians. Since Armed Forces Day is on May 21, and many of the Fargo Marathon running events are on that day, the weekend running events have a hero theme, to remember, celebrate, honor and say ‘thank you’ to people in law enforcement, fire fighters EMTs, and military personnel. The Friday, May 20, 2016 5K run is called the 5K Hero Run. (U.S. Air National Guard Photo by Senior Master Sgt. David H. Lipp/Released)
