119th Security Forces members take a plunge for a good cause
119th Security Forces Squadron members from left to right Staff Sgt. Lacey Bunkelman, Tech. Sgt. Betsy Miller, Senior Airman Zak Bergstrom, and Staff Sgt. Erik Clemenson, prepare to take their turns jumping into a tank of 34 degree Fahrenheit water in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn, Fargo, North Dakota, during a Special Olympics ‘Polar Plunge’ fund raising event Jan. 30, 2016. They are a team of North Dakota Air National Guard members who raised a little over $800 for the event being held outdoors on a 35 degree day, with a total event amount of $8,000 for Special Olympics. Clemenson volunteers his time as an organizing committee member for the annual event, which is organized by members of the North Dakota law enforcement community. Prizes were given for costumes and plunging technique. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. David H Lipp/Released)
