Chaplains on flood duty in 2009
Chaplain Lt. Col. John Flowers, of the 119th Wing, says a prayer before a meal as he makes a morale visit to U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Air Force N.D. National Guard members as they remain on alert for rescue missions out of their Quick Response Force staging area at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, N.D. on March 31. The military personnel were in place to respond to emergency evacuation requests of flood victims stranded by flood water of the Red River along the North Dakota - Minnesota border.
