2010 Flood Fight
Cass County Sherriff's Department Chief Deputy Jim Thoreson helps Mili Sherman up a ladder and into a North Dakota National Guard quick response force (QRF) truck March 22, in rural Cass County. Thorson and the QRF team are assisting Sherman to temporarily vacate her home because the rising over-land flood water covering her access road has made it dangerous to drive in and out of her roadway.
