Lt. Col. Todd Branden receives the U.S. Air Force Meritorious Service Medal
Lt. Col. Todd Branden, the 119th Wing deputy Mission Support Group commander, right, receives the U.S. Air Force Meritorious Service Medal for outstanding achievement from Col. Rick Gibney, the 119th Wing commander, July 2, at the North Dakota Air National Guard, Fargo, N.D. Branden received the award as a result of his outstanding leadership during the recent North Dakota Air National Guard mission transitions from the F-16 aircraft into the MQ-1 Predator and the C-21 aircraft during the time period of Oct 1, 2006 to Sep. 29, 2009. The 119th Mission Support Group has been highly tasked during the transitions with planning, resourcing, training and restructuring base facilities, personnel, equipment, and security, and Lt. Col. Branden has been influential in those processes.
