This ceremony was a catch-up ceremony for the members of 119th Wing. Next year they will honor all Airmen who have deployed from 2009 to 2010. From then on, the Hometown Heroes Salute will be a yearly ceremony honoring Airmen who have deployed that year. Since September 11, 2001, more than 1,800 Happy Hooligans have deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
