2011 NDNG Flood Fight
Staff Sgt. Robert Benton, of the 119th Maintenance Squadron, left, and Airman 1st Class Kelli Eidem, of the 119th Security Forces Squadron, patrol a flood dike April 7, along the Red River in downtown Fargo, N.D. The pair of North Dakota Air National Guard members are among the first North Dakota National Guard members tasked with keeping sightseers off of the flood dikes during the 2011 flood and also to monitor the clay dikes for possible trouble spots that could become breaches in the dike if they are left unchecked.
