2011 NDNG Flood Fight
Staff Sgt. Nickolas Kosen, of the 119th Civil Engineer Squadron, signals a fork-lift as Tech. Sgt. Gary Anderson, of the 119th Logistics Readiness Squadron, holds open a one-ton sandbag April 7 at the North Dakota Air National Guard in Fargo, N.D. The flood-fighting sandbag is one of several bags being filled in preperation for possible flood emergencies in the Red River Valley area of eastern North Dakota. The one-ton sandbags can be lowered into place using a N.D. National Guard U-60 Blackhawk helicoptor in the event of a flood emergency.
