Penny Ripperger 119th Wing Friday, June 20, 2008 -- Fargo, N.D. - Two 119th Wing airmen who deployed to separate locations will meet up at Baltimore Washington IAP for the final leg of their journey home to Fargo. Senior Airman Wayne Fawcett and Senior Airman Dominic Ste.Marie (Saint-Marie) are scheduled to arrive at Hector IAP at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Fawcett deployed to Iraq on May 2, 2008 serving as a supply liaison. He worked on repair cycle issues for the vehicle maintenance unit and acquired critical assets for military vehicles. This was Fawcett's second deployment to Iraq; his first deployment was a four-month mission in 2007. Fawcett's brother, Spc. Jerry Fawcett, is a member of the N.D. Army National Guard and is currently serving with the 191st Military Police detachment in Iraq. In addition his father, retired Army Master Sgt. Dan Fawcett, also served in Iraq. Ste.Marie deployed to United Arab Emirates on May 5, 2008. His duties consisted of issuing supplies to military members at the base service store. This was Dominic's first deployment to UAE. Ste.Marie volunteered to deploy to UAE prior to his wedding scheduled for next month. Fawcett and Ste.Marie have kept in contact with each other through email during their deployment. The airmen serve together in the mobility section of the Logistical Readiness Support Squadron at the 119th Wing in Fargo. Members of the community are invited to Hector IAP to show their support and welcome the airmen home.
