Happy Hooligans welcome home Airmen Published Jan. 5, 2009 By Capt Penny Ripperger 119th Wing Public Affairs Fargo -- Families and friends of six airmen of the 119th Wing, N.D. Air National Guard will get an early gift on New Years Eve as they welcome home airmen returning home several weeks earlier than previously scheduled. The Airmen are returning home from Kuwait on Wednesday, December 31st. The group will arrive at approximately 12:32 p.m. on NW FLT #1815 at Hector International Airport, Fargo, N.D. The Airmen are with the 119th Civil Engineer Squadron and are part of a larger group of 119th Wing airmen who deployed to Ali Al Air Base in Kuwait in September 2008. The following Airmen are expected to arrive on Wednesday: Master Sgt. Mark Foster served as the supervisor of the Liquid Fuels shop, Staff Sgt. Don Clarke worked in the Utilities Shop, Staff Sgt Jacob Thiel worked in the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Shop, Senior Airman Nick Guttormson worked in the Structures Shop, Senior Airman Gene Keller worked in the Liquid Fuels Shop and Senior Airman Alex Vos worked in the Power Production Shop. The remainder of the 119th Wing Airmen currently serving in Kuwait are scheduled to return home in January.
