Happy Hooligans welcome home Airmen from Iraq and Kuwait

The 119th Wing, N.D. Air National Guard will welcome eight Airmen returning home from Iraq and Kuwait this week.

Thursday:
Staff Sgt. John Herman, Caldwell, Idaho, is scheduled to arrive at Hector IAP on Northwest Flight # 1835 at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday. Herman is a member of the 119th Wing Civil Engineer Squadron and deployed to Kuwait in September 2008.

Three 119th Wing Civil Engineer Airmen remain in Kuwait and are scheduled to return to North Dakota later this month.

Friday:
Tech.Sgt. Scott Kaufman, Fargo, Staff Sgt. Kali Lettenmaier, Sanborn, N.D. and Senior Airman Cole Kyser, Erie, N.D. are scheduled to arrive at Hector IAP on Northwest Flight # 2197 at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. The airmen are 119th Wing firefighters who deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in September 2008.

Saturday:
Tech.Sgt. Jesse Schmidt, Harwood, N.D., Staff Sgt. Jon Renteria, Apple Valley, Minn., and Senior Airman Ronnie Nordstrom, Moorhead, Minn., are scheduled to arrive at Hector IAP on United Airlines Flight #6015 at 11:43 a.m. on Saturday. The airmen are 119th Wing firefighters who deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in September 2008.

Senior Master Sgt. Mike Vanbavel, Dilworth, Minn., is scheduled to arrive at Hector IAP on Northwest Flight #2197 at 2:15 pm on Saturday. Vanbavel is a member of the 119th Wing Communications Flight and deployed to Kuwait in September 2008.

The public is invited to show their appreciation by cheering home the Airmen at the airport.
