Santa visits the Happy Hooligans Published Dec. 11, 2009 By Capt. Penny Ripperger 119th Wing Public Affairs Fargo, N.D. -- Children of Happy Hooligan members will get an early Christmas visit on Saturday as Santa makes a stop at the N.D. Air National Guard. The annual Children's Christmas party will take place at the 119th Wing Dining Hall from 2-4 p.m. The party consists of clown entertainment, plenty of treats and of course, one-on-one time with Santa. "Santa's arrival is by far the most anticipated part of the event and we're doing something a little different this year," said Jody Harms, 119th Wing family programs coordinator. "This year Santa will arrive on a fire truck." Santa is scheduled to arrive at the Christmas Party in a fire truck operated by 119th Wing firemen at approximately 3 p.m. "This Christmas party is always a great success, not only for the children, but also for the parents because they get a chance to connect with each other," said Harms. "The Happy Hooligan family is more than just the Airmen of this unit; it also consists of the families that continuously support the Airmen." Media is invited to this event.
