COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT DAVID G. HARMON

Chief Master Sergeant David G. Harmon is the 119th Wing Command Chief of the North Dakota Air National Guard. He serves as the enlisted advocate and advisor on readiness, training, professional development, utilization of the force, conduct and quality of life issues pertaining to all assigned enlisted personnel at the 119th Wing.

Chief Harmon began his military career in 1973 serving eight years with the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator. He joined the North Dakota Air National Guard in 1986 and became a full-time technician in January 1990. Chief Harmon retired from his full-time federal technician position in February 2008.

Chief Harmon has served in the following capacities with the North Dakota Air National Guard: Command Post Controller, Command Post Superintendent, Chief Base Operations, Chief Airfield Management and Air Operations Chief Enlisted Manager. 

Chief Harmon and wife, Sally, reside in North Fargo. They have three sons: David and his wife Tanya, Erik and Michael and one grandson, Devin.
