Col Jerrad A. Krapp is the Deputy Commander of the 119th Wing, North Dakota Air National Guard, Fargo, North Dakota. As Deputy Commander, Colonel Krapp is second-in-command of nearly 1,200 Air National Guard airmen who train, deploy, and execute MQ-9 persistent attack and reconnaissance, kinetic and non-kinetic intelligence target production, and provide expeditionary mission support for the Nation and State of North Dakota.
Colonel Krapp was commissioned from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado in June 1999. After completing Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance AFB, Oklahoma in April 2001, he held a variety of pilot and leadership positions while flying the KC-135 at Fairchild AFB, Washington and RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. During this time, he completed multiple deployments in support of various operations. He transferred from the Active Duty Air Force to the North Dakota Air National Guard in January 2007. Since joining the Air National Guard, Col Krapp has flown the C-21A, MQ-1B, and MQ-9A. Prior to his current position, the colonel served as the Commander, 119th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group, Hector IAP, Fargo, ND.
