Space-A passengers are required to arrive 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time at Base Operations with no more than 30lbs of luggage. Soft-sided luggage is preferred.
Passengers must register for travel at Passenger Service Centers in the passenger terminal. The Passenger Service Center in Fargo is in Base Operations. Passengers must present proper identification/documentation for travel to Base Operations/Command Post prior to departure.
Space-A flights and schedules can change at a moments notice. Have an alternate plan in place. Space-A passengers travel only after all duty cargo and passengers have been accommodated. Space required passengers or cargo may require the removal of Space-A passengers at any point. Remember; be flexible in your travel plans.
Family members may travel within CONUS when accompanied by their sponsor.
Space-A travel is a privilege, not an entitlement for military members.
There are six different categories of travel and lower category levels have priority over higher category passengers. A complete listing of eligible passengers is contained in DOD 4514.13-R, Air Transportation Eligibility.
