Twelve members of the 219th Security Forces Squadron returned to North Dakota Friday. The Airmen, who are members of the 219th Security Forces Squadron, are home after completing a six-month overseas deployment to southwest Asia.
The Airmen provided force protection and installation security at their deployed location while supporting current U.S. operations. They are part of the nearly 150 Happy Hooligans who deployed in 2017, which was the unit’s largest deployment since the Korean War.
Leadership from the 219th Security Forces Squadron, as well as other fellow Hooligans, were in attendance to greet the returning Airmen with their families as they arrived at Minot International Airport Friday afternoon.
